I recently watched the Tragically Hip documentary from 2017, it’s called “Long Time Running”. It was a very moving show, depicting the last tour that the Hip did before Gord Downie passed away. Not very far into the show, there is a scene where Gord is in his recording studio and I was a bit stunned by the amount of equipment in there, it is obviously all electronic. And then as the documentary goes on, there are a lot of scenes with Gord on the stage, practicing and performing. And in all of those scenes, he is wearing what I have since learned is called an in-ear monitor. I have seen these before while watching American Idol and The Voice. I always wondered what they were and got my team of research assistants on it. Google says that in-ear monitors allow a singer to hear exactly what they want. For example, if you are a singer singing with a live band, there is a lot of noise onstage with you, especially from the drummer. It can be very hard to hear yourself which can make you sing louder and even shout. All I could see when I looked at Gord wearing those things in each ear, was the probable reason for his brain cancer. Those, and of course all of the electronic equipment that he was always surrounded by, in order to make us some awesome music to listen to. Gord died from Glioblastoma and apparently the exact cause of this type of cancer is unknown, but it is an aggressive invasive brain tumor. Since learning about the existence of the PEMF system, and since researching a lot about the PEMF system and the effect that EMF’s have on our bodies, I am pretty much convinced that those in-ear monitors were the cause of Gord’s cancer. I’m not a doctor, I’ve never done any clinical research, but I do have common sense. And I can’t help but think that wearing electronics in your ears can have a very deadly effect on you. Just my thoughts.
